Hat Cha Am. (Beach)

Hat Cha-am This beautiful beach, twinned with Hua Hin of Phrachuap Khiri Khan, is located 40 kms. south of the town or 20 kms. north of Hua Hin, and another 2 kms. along an access road. Cha-am was originally a small fishing village. After a royal palace was built near Hua Hin in the reign of King Rama VI, the land was occupied by the royal family and the elite. Today, it is very popular among Thais who love superb seafood and comfortable hotel or bungalow accommodation.

Cha Am Gallery.

Welcome to Cha Am Thailand.

Thailand’s longest white sand beach is the main feature of this lesser-known resort town only two hours outside of Bangkok.

Cha Am is located just 150km south of Bangkok Thailand. Cha Am offers the visitor a relaxing beach resort area. Cha Am in Thailand is famous for relaxing times, swimming, golf, sports and excursions.

Cha Am enjoys excellent weather almost year round. The beach has plenty of deckchairs and umbrellas for rent, and beer, soft drinks and tasty seafood are available all day long from local vendors. After swimming in the sea, you can wash off with fresh water at one of the public bathhouses for a nominal charge.

There is a good selection of accommodation set back from the beach, with small hotels for budget travelers and more luxurious big-name chains for those looking for something a bit more comfortable.
